Here is something for Michelle in reference to this post.  Shirley Eikhard is a prolific Canadian songwriter who has provided some pretty big hits to some pretty big names. I think her biggest was Let's Give Them Something To Talk About for Bonnie Raitt. Her songs can be tender and clever or both. This one has always stuck with me and Michelle's post reminded me of it.
